Cheap prices
We offer a range of removal formulas. Depending upon your wishes, you can move with or without a ladder lift (high or low floor level), with a large or small moving van and with 1 to 4 professional removal experts to help with loading and unloading. Would you like an estimate of how much your move will cost? This is easy with the following calculation model.
Extra price information
- Saturday rate + 20%.
- You will receive 10 free moving boxes if you reserve at our main office at Boomsesteenweg 501, 2610 Wilrijk (Antwerp).
- The working hours and kilometres will be calculated from departure from the removal depot to arrival at the removal depot.
- Price per kilometre: 50 km free.
- Additional kilometres: € 0.36/km VAT incl. for a "City Truck".
- Additional kilometres: € 0.48/km VAT incl. for a "Truck".
Which removal van is best for you?
- City Truck: suitable for small household contents (studio or student room).
- Truck: suitable for the complete contents of an apartment or house.
Tip: Moving with a large removal van is cheaper than making the trip twice with a small van.
What about insurance?
- Civil Liability Insurance is included in the price. This insurance covers all damage to third parties (e.g. damage to the building or stair case). Damage to your furniture and household items is not covered by this policy.
- We advise an additional insurance for any damage that may occur to your furniture and household items during the move.
Tips for a quick and easy move
- Do you own a delicate glass display case, heavy safe or valuable grand piano? Just let us know in advance.
- All removal vans from Dockx Movers have protective blankets and removal equipment.
- Our moving vans need 20m parking space.
- Don’t take any risks and be sure to apply early to the correct department of your city council or municipal authorities for a no parking zone. You can also ask Dockx Movers to do this for you.
- It is only possible to use a ladder lift during the move if there are no obstacles (such as a tree, lamp post, bus shelter...) between the moving lift and the window through which objects are being moved.
- If the move is to or from an upper floor, at least 4 people will be required: the movers from Dockx Movers together with you or your helpers.
- Please consult our moving checklist and handy moving tips. The right preparations ensure a quick and easy move.
Tip: if you are moving to or from an upper storey, it is best to have 2 people above and two below.
